What an adventure...

Star Ferry in the foreground leacing from Wan Chai towards Kowloon.
Hong Kong exhibition center in the background.

Shanghai Mian in World Trade Center. Love the view from there.

The five Summer Olympic Mascots for Beijing 2008 (Opening ceremony 08 August 2008)

All a matter of perspective

A bygone era- water taxis and people living on the boats in Victoria Harbor.

Noon day cannon. A blast from the Colonial past

View from the plane. Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok Airport

Where should I start?
1) I had an experience in China... went there for a job interview and it was a very interesting tim to say the least.... Hmm don't know if I will take the job though.. any ideas or suggestions?
2) Watched the free light and laser display from Kowloon looking back at all the buildings in Central. They sure tower over the skyline...
3) UA flights... well what can I say? The flight there was stuck in economy that had so little leg room that I could not sit properly. without hitting the passenger in front... on the way back I was in premium economy and that is a luxury- had so much leg room and three seats to myself to sleep! Well I needed the sleep as the plane was scheduled to depart at 2040 but we did not begin taxi till 2356 as the glight was delayed... It was a really long night... Was given a HKD$75 meal voucher which was a challenge to spend as not all food outlets in the airport accepted it (go figure!) and I was afraid of fallingasleep so it was alike lets keep moving... made it back here at about 0330 this morning and was off to the airport to pick up a friend at 0500 so collapsed in exhaustion after that but the bloody phone kept ringing and waking me up- not a happy camper!
Looks like 2008 is shaping up to be a rather exciting year. It is only the second week of the year and I have already had so many weird and wonderful experiences. Wonder what else the future holds?
